Welcome to this month’s Blogorail Blue Loop. Today we are sharing some must have items for your Disney resort room.
If you are like me, you travel to the Disney Parks with gadgets and gizmos aplenty. Not only do you need them to take photos or coordinate meet-ups with your travel group you also need some like your phone to access FastPass and Dining Reservations. Here are a few tech must haves for your resort room to keep everything charged, organized, and ready to go.

My husband and I both tend to travel with lots of gadgets, phones, work phones, tablets, laptops, cameras, etc. Since there is two of almost everything we need lots of outlets. I like traveling with a power strip that not only gives us a few extra outlets but also has USB connections for things like our external batteries. The one we use the most is the Belkin Mini Travel Charger. We have the one with three outlets and it also has two USB ports. You can adjust the plug in the back so it fits into the outlet easy and can be out of the way of the other outlet on the wall. It’s also small so it will easily fit into your suitcase.
I recently purchased the Quirkey Portable Power Supply and I really like it too. It’s a little smaller so it’s great if you don’t have that many devices or you’re trying to travel light, has two USB ports, and has an angled plug so it’s out of the way of the other outlet. I also like it because you can wrap the cords around it when you are done charging so they are out of the way and easy to keep up with.
Lots of devices means lots of cords. I carry a Grid-It Organizer so I can keep everything in one spot. That way I have less of a chance to misplace them. 🙂 It’s also great for your carry on to keep things like your chargers and headphones in one place.
You’ve been in the parks all day, there is no telling how many germy objects you’ve touch, and you have used your phone countless time taking photos, texting, instagraming etc. You’re screen probably looks a little gross and I’m pretty sure it probably is. I use Wireless Wipes all the time but I also keep them with at the resort so my phone can start the next day clean.
These are a few things that aren’t really necessary but are fun to have. I like to listen to music when I’m getting ready in the morning. The Native Union Monocle Speaker is fun addition to pack for your trip. It’s small so it doesn’t take up much space, you can easily control the volume so you don’t annoy other guests, and the music sounds better than when you just play it on your phone.
Heading to the pool, the Disney Water Parks, or Castaway Cay on your cruise? This cute bag from Hayden Reis (there are more options on the site) is water resistant so it will keep keep your tablet, phone, books, etc. safe and dry.
