Walt Disney World is a lot more than just attractions. Live entertainment at Disney is something we enjoy just as much. Here are some of our favorites from. Some of them would be great for a Disney date night or just an entire day. We have a few suggested itineraries to make the most of each park but you can pick and choose to best suit how long you plan on being in the park. Join this month’s Blogorail Orange Loop as we share some of the best live entertainment at the Disney Parks.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is one of the attractions at the Magic Kingdom that wheelchair users use an alternate entrance. The attraction also has an accessible ride vehicle to make transferring easier. Check out the details below to see if the wildest ride in the wilderness is for you.
At the Magic Kingdom you can take a leisurely ride down the Rivers of America on the Liberty Belle Riverboat. It is a great way to take a break and relax. I like to take the trip in the afternoon. If you time it just right, you can watch some of the 3:00 parade as it passes by.
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is one of my favorite attractions. It’s not the fastest, it’s not the longest, but it is one of the easier coasters for me to ride. The process is a little different from other roller coasters at the park, and I was really nervous the first time, but the Cast Members have always been great and it was so much easier than I thought it was going to be.
The Jungle Cruise has always been one of my favorite attractions. One of the reasons why is because I can stay in my wheelchair to experience it and not have to worry about transferring into the ride vehicle.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is another great accessible attraction at Magic Kingdom Park. Here is a break down of what wheelchair users should expect and a few tips.
We visited Disneyland for the first time in September 2013. One of the lands I was look forward to visiting the most was Adventureland. It’s my favorite at the Magic Kingdom and I couldn’t wait to visit the original Tiki Room and have a Dole Whip. It’s still hard for me to say which is better, each one has it’s own set of pros (Tikis!) and cons (congestion). So to figure out who wins this battle lets do some comparisons.
