Springtime Roundup is back at Disneyland this year. I am so glad our trip overlapped with this event! It looked like so much fun and we love meeting characters. And I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was to finally meet Roger Rabbit!
Beginning at 10:30 am you can head back to Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree in Frontierland for the Springtime Roundup event. We arrived right when they opened in hopes of avoiding long lines. I’m glad we did because we were there about 45 minutes and the crowd just kept growing.
The characters rotate so during the first round we saw Mickey and Minnie in their spring costumes (they were adorable!), the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, Brer Rabbit, and Thumper.
When it was time to switch Roger Rabbit, Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh, and the Easter Bunny took the place of the other bunnies. Keep in mind that you may be in line for one character but another might take their place. The characters are out for about 15 minutes before they swap so if you miss someone you can just wait around for them to come back.
Pluto in his rabbit ears took the place of Mickey and Minnie.
Since Roger Rabbit is only out meeting with guests during Springtime Roundup his line can get pretty long. We asked a Cast Member which spot he would be taking so we could get in line early. He was taking Thumper’s spot and while we were in line they switched.
In addition to meeting characters, make a free set of bunny ears in the craft area, buy a cookie decorationg kit or other sncaks, and join in the Bunny Hop with the characters.
You also need to check out the egg decorators located near the entrance. These Cast Members are so talented! They are adding new creations daily so you can watch as they paint new eggs as well as check out the ones already on display.
You can visit Disneyland’s Springtime Round daily through April 12. After that, it will only take place on weekends through June 7. If you are visiting soon I highly recommend stopping by!
