Quiet Spots at Walt Disney World

Quiet spots and Walt Disney World are not really things that go together. But believe it or not, there are a few spots at the parks that are pretty quiet. Disney vacations can be so hectic. And if you are an introvert like me, being around so many people can be draining. It’s really good to take one morning to just relax, enjoy your coffee, and the beautiful scenery around you. Here are some of my favorite quiet spots at Walt Disney World. And if you read to the end you’ll find a fun surprise (giveaway!)

Magic Kingdom

As you are walking down Main Street, U.S.A, on the right side near Uptown Jewelers you will find an alley. It doesn’t lead anywhere but it is the perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere. In this little alley you’ll find a a few tables and chairs and a quick respite from the crowds. There are so many little details on Main Street, U.S.A when you are on your way to attractions. Here you’ll find two windows for singing lessons and a dance class. If you listen closely you’ll hear someone practicing on the piano or warming up their vocal cords.

Animal Kingdom

Mr. Kamal's - Disney's Animal Kingdom

On the the path you take from Africa to Asia at Disney’s Animal Kingdom you’ll find a hidden seating area. It on the right as you head towards Yak & Yeti, just past Mr. Kamal’s kiosk. It’s down a little hill. It seems really unassuming but the view is spectacular.

Even though most of the World Showcase doesn’t open until 11:00, the France Pavilion starts welcoming guests at 9:00 am when Epcot typically opens. And since there isn’t an attraction (yet) and the only thing open is Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie so it is pretty quiet. It’s a great time to grab your favorite caffeinated beverage and soak in the atmosphere of the pavilion.

Date Night on Disney's Boardwalk | Rolling with the Magic

And if you need a little break from the parks, head over to Disney’s BoardWalk. Mornings there are my favorite. You can grab a table near the water or just hang out on a bench. It can be a little busy near the BoardWalk Bakery so head down towards Jellyrolls for a quieter spot. You can people watch or just watch the Friendship boats.

And now for some fun! Melissa from StepMusings.comand I are teaming up for this awesome giveaway featuring LeSportSac and Expedition Roasters. I’ve carried LeSportSac bags in the parks for years. They are practical but also super cute. And when I’m not in the parks I’m dreaming about being there. The coffee from Expedition Roasters really does remind me of my happy place. It pairs perfectly with Disney background loops on YouTube.

The contest is open to residents in the continental United States ONLY and features the following prize pack (a $110 value!!!). The giveaway has ended.
