Be Our Guest Restaurant

We had dinner at Be Our Guest last year. We enjoyed it but we didn’t really love the food. (It was early in the restaurants existence which could have been a factor.) On our last trip we decided to give lunch a try.

Potato Leek Soup

We both decided to try the soups. Drew had the Potato Leek Soup. He enjoyed it but the real winner was the French Onion Soup. It is vegetarian and delicious! From the melted cheese on top to the broth, it was perfect. Drew said he would definitely choose it over the Potato Leek. Both soups are a good portion so if you are looking for a lighter lunch they would make a great option.

French Onion Soup

Drew ordered the Tuna Nicoise Salad, warm seared tuna steak with chilled green beans, potatoes, olives, roasted red bell peppers, tomatoes, and a hard poached egg. The tuna was cooked to his liking, although he loves it raw, and the salad was fresh with a nice vinaigrette dressing.

For my entree, I had the Vegetable Quiche. It consisted of mushrooms, zucchini, bell pepper, onion, and chive quiche. It is served with baby lettuce and a Champagne vinaigrette. I enjoyed it I just wish there were a few more vegetables. But it was cooked well and I loved the flaky crust. The salad was fresh and I really loved the vinaigrette.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Be Our Guest and will definitely be making another visit. The food was on par with Disney table service restaurants and you really can’t beat the atmosphere. The restaurant is beautiful.

    The onion soup and your entree look yummy! I wasn’t going to put this on my list (the dinner choices just don’t sound appealing to me) but this lunch really makes me think we might need to brave the lines!

    I’m really looking forward to Be Our Guest–Lunch definitely sounds like the more do-able and better-value option. The French Onion Soup looks amazing.
