In case you didn’t know, I love a good cheese danish. I hardly ever eat them in my normal life but my Disney life is a different story. I could eat a Disney cheese danish every day that I am there. On our trip in January Drew quit asking me what I wanted for breakfast by the third day. By then I had made it my mission to try every cheese danish I came across, you know, for blog research.
Standard Cheese Danish
I don’t mean standard as in its not good, it is, but standard since you can find it several different places. I’ve had one of these at Starring Rolls, Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Saratoga Springs Resort, and I’m sure somewhere else that I can’t remember.
Writer’s Stop at Hollywood Studios
I have dreams about this cheese danish. The bread reminds me of a cinnamon roll. It is roped around a center of cheesy deliousness. It also has more icing than the other versions I’ve had but its not too sweet and adds to the overall flavor. So far this is my favorite and I have to visit the Writer’s Stop for one at least once every trip
Cafe Rix at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
We stayed at Coronado Springs for the first time in October. Drew ran down to Cafe Rix to grab breakfast while I finished getting ready. He pretty much assumes that I want a cheese danish at this point so he usually doesn’t even ask me what I want. 🙂 I was really happy to see that the danish from Cafe Rix was different. It’s square with a nice dollop of cheese in the middle. It is also drizzled with honey so it’s a little sweeter than other Disney cheese danishes.
I am always on the lookout for another cheese danish so if I find a new one on my next trip I’ll make sure to try it. It is research after all.
