Crew’s Cup Lounge

Crew's Cup Lounge - Rolling with the Magic

Welcome to this month’s Blogorail Green Loop. Today we are discussing some of the best bars and lounges at the Disney Parks.

We stayed at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort for the first time last year. We arrived before check in so our room wasn’t quite ready yet. The Cast Member checking us in asked if we had plans for lunch and since we didn’t really we asked what she recommended. She suggested that we stop by the Crew’s Cup Lounge. I’m so glad we did. It’s turned into one of our favorite spots on Disney property.

Crew's Cup Lounge Beer

The Crew’s Cup Lounge is located next to the Yachtsman Steakhouse. We still haven’t visited the restaurant (we’re not really steak eaters) but the lounge would make a great spot for pre or post dinner drinks.

Crew's Cup Lounge

One thing I really like about Crew’s Cup is that while there is bar seating most of the options are low top tables which all wheelchair users appreciate. There are also booths and comfy looking chairs. It gives the bar an intimate feel. During the Yachtsman Steakhouse dinner hours there is also a table with a view of the butcher. Not really my thing so it’s something to keep in mind if it’s not yours either. 🙂

Crew's Cup Lounge

Crew’s Cup is open for lunch and dinner with slightly different menus for each. We usually just order off of the appetizer menu because the portions are big enough for a meal if you don’t want to share.

Crew's Cup Lounge Lump Crab Cake

Drew really likes the Lump Crab Cake with Fire-roasted Corn Succotash and Lemon Emulsion. He’s also tried the Buffalo Chicken Wings with celery, carrot shavings, and Blue Cheese dressing. He liked them but they weren’t really anything special. The crab cake on the other hand has always been a home run.

My favorite is the Buttermilk-fried Rock Shrimp. It comes with two sauces, Chipotle Rémoulade, which is a little spicy, and a Citrus Cream which I love. It also comes with a Chilled Cucumber Salad.

We also get the House-cut Truffle Fries with with Roasted Shallot Mayonnaise. I’ve tried the truffle fries at a couple of other places at Walt Disney World but they are never as good as the ones we get at Crew’s Cup.

As far as drinks go you’ll mostly find what is on Disney’s standard drink menu. But Crew’s Cup does have a few daily specials that include cocktails and beers. I tried out the Crew’s Cup Cosmo on one visit and really liked it.

I love all the resort bars I’ve ever visited, and while I’ve never made it to Crews Cup, I think it’s a must do on my next visit!

We did exactly that Melissa- we waited (and imbibed) in the Crew’s Cup Lounge prior to our dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. I did not check out the food offerings and honestly did NOT know that they offered a full lunch and dinner menu! It looks yummy! Since we are light on ADRs for November trip, we might just investigate; after all, it will be in walking (weaving) distance to our hotel. Thanks for the lead!

I have never been to the Crews Cup but now that I know it is open for lunch and can see this as another option for Epcot. And I will be ordering the crab cake.

Thanks for the review! I’m not a steak eater either so I’ve avoided both Yachtsman and Crew’s Cup, but your appetizers look delicious! Maybe it’s time for a try!

I always hang at Beach Club and have always wanted to wander over to Yachtsman… what did you think about your stay there? I totally am loving your picture of the Buttermilk Fried Rock Shrimp! I would love to have that in front of me right now!

We have had pre-Yachtsman drinks here, but I had no idea they served food too! I had hands down the best Sangria here too! Great place, and a nice break from the hustle and bustle.

That looks like a neat atmosphere! We haven’t been to the Yachtsman yet either. We do like steak, but it’s just always been under our radar, despite such rave reviews! One of these days . . .
