Cool Treats at Walt Disney World – Disney’s Animal Kingdom

July 31, 2012

Last week I shared some of my favorite cool treats at the Magic Kingdom. This week I want to share a few of my favorites from Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Yak & Yeti

Possibly some of the best Air Conditioning on property.

This place would make the list because of the air conditioning alone. Even if you don’t want to have a meal here it is a great place to stop for a drink or dessert. I recommend trying the Yak Attack. It was recommended by our friend Jeff at Commnunicore Weekly and tastes much better than it sounds.

The sorbet trio is also a great option on a hot Florida day. It features lemon, mango, and raspberry sorbet that are all light and refreshing. If you would like a little more info about Yak & Yeti check out our review here.

Royal Anandapur Tea Company

Royal Anandapur Tea Company

If you haven’t visited this awesome spot in the Asia section of the park you really should on your next visit. They have some great hot tea options and coffee but they also offer iced tea, iced coffees, and smoothies.

I tried the iced Green Honey Ginseng Tea which had a subtle sweetness to it that didn’t over power the green tea. So, so yummy. The Mango Smoothie was also great and would be perfect to sip on while doing some people watching.
