21 Things I Love About Disney’s Animal Kingdom

19 Things to Love at Disney's Animal Kingdom | Rolling with the Magic

I can’t believe that Disney’s Animal Kingdom is turning 21. For one, it makes me feel really old. Animal Kingdom opened on April 22, 1998. My first visit was in 2001 and it was love at first sight. In honor of the occasion, I decided to list 21 things that I love about the park. It was hard making this list, I could have easily added so many more. But since I can’t include everything (that would have been a really long list) here is what I am loving at the Animal Kingdom right now.

Accessible Attractions | Kilimanjaro Safari - Rolling with the Magic

Kilimanjaro Safaris is one of my favorite attractions at Walt Disney World. Located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, no safari is ever the same so it is fun to ride multiple times on your vacation if you can. It is also a wheelchair friendly attraction.

We’re taking a look at the wheelchair accessibility of TriceraTop Spin at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This spinner, similar to Dumbo, is surprisingly easy to ride. It’s worth a trip over to DinoLand U.S.A.

When we first started visiting Walt Disney World in my wheelchair, Expedition Everest was an attraction that I was really nervous about trying. Turns out I was nervous about the wrong thing. Getting on was the easy part. Going backwards, well that’s an entirely different story.
