When we visit Disney resorts for the first time I usually start talking about how I can’t wait to stay there some day.. That was especially true of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. We had visited a few times for dinner and tried out lunch at The Mara on day. We’ve stayed at Jambo House twice now and we loved each visit.
Our stay at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn was the first time I’ve stayed in a wheelchair accessible room at Disney that didn’t have a roll in shower. It was only for one night so I was willing to give it a try to see if I liked it and if it fit my needs. I was pleasantly surprised.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is one of the resorts that we have visited many times but had not actually had the opportunity to stay at. Luckily that changed this year. I always had a feeling we would love it and I was happy to find out that was true.
We had our first stay in a wheelchair accessible room at Disney’s Beach Club Resort towards the end of 2014. It wasn’t a long stay but it was long enough to fall in love with the smell of the lobby and the location of the resort.
We stayed at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for the first time on our recent trip. Loved it. I know it had a lot to do with the fact that we had a Magic Kingdom view but this was one of our best trips and I kinda fell in love with the place. We spent one night in regular one bedroom villa before we moved into an accessible villa with a roll in shower so some of the photos are of our first room.
