Buddy the Elf & Walt Disney World’s Christmas Trees

Since this is my third post about Buddy the Elf I am guessing most of you guys know how much I love the movie Elf. I also love my friend Estelle from This Happy Place Blog because she loves the movie as much as I do. So since it’s getting close to Christmas we decided to each do another buddy themed post.

Buddy the Elf

It looks like a Christmas tree!

One of the things I love most about Buddy is his love of Christmas trees. I wish I could have a live tree in my house year round but that really isn’t practical. So during the holiday season I try to see as many Christmas trees as I can. The lights, the tinsel, it all just makes me feel like a kid again. I’m at Walt Disney World this week so I’m making sure I see as many trees as possible. So in honor of Buddy here are a few of my favorites.

I’m not really attached to Camp Minnie-Mickey but one thing I will miss is all of the Christmas trees they put out during the Holidays. There are quite a few and each one represents a different character. My favorite is the Lion King tree.

This isn’t a traditional tree but it is so cute! I love the sun that they placed at the top this year. And it smells so good. I wish I could take it home with me.

Christmas Trees at the Wilderness Lodge

Big and small, all of the trees at the Wilderness Lodge are beautiful. The entire resort is gorgeous but during the holidays it really is a special spot.

We’ve visited Walt Disney World during the holidays but this is the first year we’ve been able to see the giant Christmas tree in the Magic Kingdom. It isn’t displayed until after the parade taping so I made sure we visited later in December this year. It was totally worth the wait! Also, I may have cried the first time I saw it. I’m pretty sappy this time of year. 🙂 We sat under it last night to watch the parade at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It was pretty magical.

Thanks for following along! I hope all of you are enjoying the Holidays. Make sure to visit This Happy Place Blog to see what Buddy is up to over there.
