When we visit Walt Disney World we always leave the night before our check in date and drive through the night. One of our favorite parts of planning is where we will eat breakfast the morning we arrive. On our last trip we decided to visit the Art of Animation resort and have breakfast at Landscape of Flavors.
My favorite thing about Landscape of Flavors was the variety of unique choices. I really hope items like these start showing up at other Disney resorts. Each station has its own menu and everything looked great. We decided to go with a couple of the more unique items available at the Tandoori station.
Drew had the world breakfast platter. It comes with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, Portuguese sausage, bacon, and Naan bread. He really enjoyed it. The Portuguese sausage had a nice kick to it but it wasn’t too spicy. If the Portuguese sausage doesn’t appeal to you there is regular sausage available.
I had the vegetarian breakfast sandwich which is Naan bread, cauliflower, spinach, and paneer cheese. It was good but not great. The cauliflower is on its own inside the sandwich and they add a sauce on top that contains the cheese and spinach. The sauce is great but they didn’t really add enough so you mostly end up with cauliflower with no flavor. I wish they would add a little of the sauce to the inside. I think that would make it better.
Overall we really enjoyed our breakfast. Landscape of Flavors is a beautiful food court. I think my favorite section was the one dedicated to the Lion King. It was also a plus being able to eat off of real plates with silverware. I think the items on the menu will continue to improve and I really hope this is a new trend at the resort restaurants.
