A Totally Tomorrowland Valentine’s Day

A Totally Tomorrowland Valentine's Day at Rolling with the Magicl

One of my favorite parts of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas show. It’s cute, cheesy, and fun. When I started thinking about what I wanted to come up with for a Valentine’s Post it was the first thing that popped into my head. Why? I have no idea but it ended up being a fun endeavor! So here are a few things I would put together to have a Totally Tomorrowland Valentine’s Day.

Valentine Cards & Decorations

I bought a Valentine card kit from Paper Source. The kit has everything you need and all of the elements are precut so it made it really easy to put them together. The Valentine Rocket Kit reminded me of Astro Orbiter and Rockettower Plaza. It comes with stickers but you could also add a few Disney stickers if you wanted to.

The rockets would also be really cute decorations. Spoonful has a Stitch candy box that you can print out but I would probably go a little more retro futuristic with the decor. I have no idea if that’s even a thing but I’m thinking a little vintage Disneyland Tomorrowland meets the neon of today’s Tomorrowland at Walt Disney World. Print out some cool retro posters, add some twinkle lights, and glow necklaces and you have a quick set up. Now if I could just find those sliver boots.

Valentine Treats

I’m not really a fan of cooking so dinner would be simple and then we would have our own Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party. These sweet WALL-E cookies from Spoonful look pretty simple and they are so cute. Even though he isn’t in Tomorrowland (he should be!) I couldn’t leave my favorite robot out of our Valentine’s Day celebration. The rest I would probably end up getting from a local chocolatier. (If you tried their truffles you would understand.) And while we enjoyed our desserts we would watch youtube videos of the Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes.

Movie Time

Star Wars

We both love movies and since Star Tours is located in Tomorrowland at Disneyland I can add even more geekiness into this holiday. A marathon of Star Wars episodes IV through VI. Plus a huge bowl of popcorn will help counteract all of the sugar. 🙂

Will you be adding a little Disney to your Valentine’s Day? Make sure to check out all of the other Valentine’s Day posts at the Riding the Rails Blog Hop on the Magical Blogorail.
